Responsibilities
- Develop and test complex software solutions with minimal direction.
- Release and validate software while creating new deployment patterns as needed.
- Lead software support, incident resolution, and blameless reviews.
- Develop reusable code modules and patterns for the team.
- Conduct exploratory and experimental work, including prototypes.
- Guide team code and design reviews.
- Document and demonstrate software for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Mentor team members across these responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience developing production-ready web applications.
- Strong understanding of modern JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Extensive experience building web APIs with Node.js.
- Proficiency with SQL databases such as Postgres.
- Experience with unit and end-to-end testing using test-driven development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced, cross-functional startup environment.
- Experience using AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar.
- Preferred: familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows.
- Preferred: experience integrating generative AI functionality into applications or developing AI chatbots.
- Preferred: experience integrating with HRIS, identity, or collaboration systems.
- Preferred: experience with Elasticsearch, React, React Router, Material UI, or React Native.
