Responsibilities
- Work with clients to understand business goals for AI implementations and present sustainable, achievable technical solutions.
- Guide and mentor internal and client engineering teams through technical standards, code reviews, and product vision.
- Conduct technical spikes to evaluate emerging technologies and methods.
- Lead architecture design and hands-on implementation of scalable, maintainable client solutions.
- Design and develop APIs, data pipelines, and end-to-end infrastructure for integrated AI systems.
- Optimize performance and help make AI models useful, scalable, and maintainable.
- Provide API design, real-time technical support, and DevOps assistance across varied projects.
- Collaborate with backend, frontend, design, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- At least 7–10 years of software engineering experience, preferably in consulting or a cross-functional product environment.
- Full-stack engineering experience in web or native mobile development.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, LLMs, RAG architecture, and event-driven architectures.
- Data engineering experience supporting AI implementations.
- Expertise architecting, building, maintaining, and scaling modern software across platforms.
- Experience designing APIs and writing API specifications.
- Ability to articulate technical requirements and explain advanced technical concepts to engineers and clients.
- Strong security awareness and ability to identify potential technical risks.
- Strong client communication, expectation management, presentation, and technical persuasion skills.
- Advanced English proficiency, exceptional problem-solving ability, and strong organization.
- Comfort with occasional travel to the company headquarters in Minnesota.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with TensorFlow, scikit-learn, machine learning model training, advanced prompt engineering, Go, Rust, Alexa, Unity, technical diagramming, public technical education, or independently released products.
