Responsibilities
- Own security work end to end, including architecture, tooling, roadmaps, and outcomes.
- Embed with engineering teams to make secure design, development, and operations the default.
- Build and deploy guardrails, detections, libraries, automation, and workflows through reviewed and tested code.
- Improve security through design reviews, threat modeling, tooling, and enablement.
- Secure the multi-tenant AI platform, including identity, authorization, tenant isolation, data handling, and model-facing attack surfaces.
- Build with LLMs and agents and help secure code and workflows produced at agent speed.
- Respond to incidents and write post-mortems that drive technical and organizational improvements.
- Depending on specialization, lead application security, detection engineering and response, or cloud and platform security initiatives.
Requirements
- Several years of engineering experience in a security specialization, with demonstrated experience finding vulnerabilities, handling incidents, hardening systems, or building security tooling.
- Ability to write production-quality code, primarily using TypeScript/Node.js and Python.
- Working knowledge across application security, detection and response, and cloud/platform security.
- Understanding of identity, authorization, multi-tenancy, and security boundaries.
- Clear communication and ability to translate risk into engineering terms and influence teams without relying on mandates.
- Ability to remain calm and structured under incident pressure.
- Experience securing LLM-based or agentic products is preferred.
- Experience building a security function at a high-growth SaaS company is preferred.
- Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS isolation models is preferred.
- Experience with strict confidentiality, data residency, or professional secrecy requirements is preferred.
- Supply-chain security experience, including SLSA, artifact signing, or SBOMs, is preferred.
