Responsibilities
- Configure Trial Interactive enterprise software and solutions throughout customer implementations.
- Design and document software configurations and solutions, including User Requirements Specifications and Configuration Specifications.
- Serve as the product configuration and domain expert in sales cycles by demonstrating products and responding to functional and technical RFI, RFP, and RFQ requirements.
- Develop and script product and solution demonstrations, webinars, seminars, conferences, and account-specific initiatives.
- Translate customer and prospect business requirements for Sales, Operations, and Product teams.
- Participate in SOW reviews and vetting of new business opportunities.
- Train and mentor junior team members, including Project Managers, Configuration Specialists, Business Development staff, and Support staff.
- Create and maintain SOPs in accordance with quality assurance and departmental guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of solutions consulting, software product configuration, or similar experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in life sciences, eTMF, clinical operations, regulatory, quality, or content management.
- Broad knowledge of technology, tools, and techniques for data and system integration.
- Understanding of SaaS and cloud-based technology and business models.
- Experience with GxP and software validation processes and regulations.
- Experience with REST APIs, sFTP, JSON, XML, SSO using SAML 2.0, and identity providers such as Okta.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong interpersonal communication, organization, time management, and customer-facing skills.
- Comfort with sustained global business travel of up to 10%.
- Previous software development experience with Backend, Python, Java, C#, Node.js, or PHP is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic shell scripting and regular expression experience for automating manual document tasks is preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience with B2B web applications or mobile apps is a plus.
