Base Salary
$90k - $115k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, secure, and deploy scalable private and public cloud infrastructure and systems.
- Automate system deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines with cross-functional teams.
- Build and manage containerized applications.
- Provision and support highly available, secure, and reliable relational databases, especially MySQL.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance and reliability.
- Create and operate disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Manage developer tooling and support infrastructure and application deployments.
- Perform software and hardware integration, validation, testing, and documentation.
- Support compliance with regulatory, compliance, and security frameworks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
- At least two years of professional DevOps experience.
- Expertise in Helm, MySQL, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of web application development, object-oriented coding, design patterns, Git workflows, unit testing, and exploratory testing.
- Knowledge of at least one cloud platform, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Preferred experience with Spring Boot, Angular, Terraform, Linux/RHEL, networking, Wireshark, application protocols, monitoring tools, Docker, Bash, Python, Ruby, virtualization, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of high-availability operations, disaster recovery, networking concepts, security best practices, and always-available service environments.
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, analytical thinking, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- Legal authorization to work indefinitely in the United States; employer work permit sponsorship is unavailable.
