Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and maintain comprehensive regression tests for software and products.
- Design and organize test plans based on priority, impact, risk, and feasibility.
- Debug and troubleshoot failures during testing and deployment at customer sites.
- Maintain robots and ensure they are ready for deployment.
- Recreate corner cases from production logs as repeatable tests.
- Collaborate with robotic software developers and machine learning engineers to improve and sustain product quality.
Requirements
- BS, MS, or higher degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Proficiency developing in C, C++, Rust, Go, and Python.
- Experience with complex real-time software systems involving embedded systems.
- Experience with Test Management and Requirements software.
- Experience with ROS, ROS2, or other robotics middleware platforms.
- Previous work experience as a Test Engineer.
- Prior experience developing and deploying software on real robots.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles, including algorithms, data structures, and system design.
- Familiarity with machine learning integration and deployment in robotic systems.
