Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scenarios for backend and API testing.
- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases and convert manual regression scenarios into automated tests.
- Plan, estimate, prioritize, and coordinate testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD environments and ensure they execute reliably.
- Perform functional, non-functional, manual, integration, regression, and API testing.
- Identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and thoroughly document software defects and enhancement requests.
- Collaborate with development teams in an Agile Scrum environment delivering software in two-week sprints.
- Define and initiate QA activities independently within an Agile team.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of solid experience in software testing.
- Strong proficiency in Java.
- Experience with the REST Assured framework for API automation testing.
- Experience with Postman for API testing.
- Hands-on experience with Git command line.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing types, tools, and processes.
- Experience with project tracking tools and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is preferred.
- Travel and tourism experience is preferred.
