Base Salary
$140k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own Bitwarden Gov cloud infrastructure with emphasis on security, reliability, availability, scalability, quality, and cost management.
- Design and build infrastructure across multiple public cloud providers and operate services in a FedRAMP-compliant environment.
- Implement site reliability tooling, monitoring, early-warning alerts, and observability across cloud environments.
- Respond to infrastructure outages and participate in developing 24x7 support and on-call practices, including weekend shifts.
- Contribute to architecture, engineering operations at scale, code reviews, technical knowledge sharing, and incident management processes.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures and perform ongoing vulnerability management and security remediation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine priorities, deliverables, and new initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with FedRAMP Moderate or High environments, including continuous monitoring and vulnerability management.
- Production experience with incident response and on-call rotations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking and traffic management, including CNI and Istio.
- Expertise with multi-region deployments across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Demonstrable production Kubernetes experience, including managed Kubernetes, Helm, kubectl, or kOps.
- Competency in at least one programming language, such as C#, Python, or Go.
- Experience with cloud deployment and automation tools such as Terraform or Pulumi, and GitOps practices.
- U.S. citizenship is required; certain government work must be conducted on U.S. territory.
- Preferred qualifications include distributed monitoring, data engineering, startup, open-source, or SaaS experience.
