Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate customer-facing native and web client capabilities for Amazon WorkSpaces.
- Develop secure session connectivity, client lifecycle features, cross-platform architecture, user experiences, performance improvements, software updates, operational telemetry, and workflow integrations.
- Own features from design through production and maintain high standards for security, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with teams across AWS and solve complex issues in customer-managed environments.
- Support the evolution of WorkSpaces clients for human and AI-agent workloads, including enterprise permissions, governance, observability, and human oversight.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent, experience leading large fast-moving projects, strong problem-solving abilities for ambiguous challenges, and experience architecting, securing, and operating Amazon Web Services.
