Base Salary
$130k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core operating system technologies and kernel components for the VxWorks embedded RTOS.
- Design, implement, test, validate, debug, and integrate low-level operating system software.
- Investigate and resolve complex issues identified through product verification and testing.
- Develop technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and contribute to software quality and engineering practices.
- Support device driver development, BSP board bring-up, architecture-specific functionality, and hardware-software integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in OS kernel-level software development.
- Strong understanding of operating system concepts and hands-on experience with core OS or kernel functionality.
- Strong experience with RTOS and embedded software development.
- Strong proficiency in C programming and hands-on embedded systems development.
- Experience with low-level device drivers and BSP board bring-up.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to learn and adopt new technologies.
- Experience with Assembly, C++, Python, or other development languages is a plus.
