Responsibilities
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering Directors, and Principal Architects to translate strategic objectives into technical roadmaps.
- Design and implement Windows features and services with ownership from conception through deployment.
- Drive collaboration across Product, Design, QA, and engineering teams to deliver critical initiatives.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams through mentoring, coaching, design reviews, and engineering standards.
- Improve code quality, automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, documentation, and architectural practices.
- Prototype emerging solutions in device security and AI-native development while using AI coding assistants to accelerate delivery.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive software development experience designing and building Windows features with C++, C#, and the .NET framework.
- Deep expertise in Windows software environments, including performance optimization and security considerations.
- Experience with advanced Windows debugging, Win32 API, inter-process communication, Windows services, and secure credential handling.
- Understanding of CI/CD, automated testing, and fast-paced agile development environments.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction.
- Proficiency with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.
- Conceptual understanding of Windows security features.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Preferred knowledge of cryptography, endpoint security, Trusted Platform Module, MDM protocols, endpoint detection, IAM, FIDO, OIDC/OAuth, cybersecurity, secure coding, CISSP, or Security+.
