Responsibilities
- Develop Swift/C++ interoperability features in the Swift compiler.
- Improve language interoperation capabilities related to memory safety, performance, and ergonomics.
- Learn and modify compiler internals in a shipping compiler.
- Contribute technical changes to the open-source Swift project.
- Collaborate with the open-source community and receive architectural guidance and mentorship.
Requirements
- Interest and academic experience with compiler engineering.
- Practical experience with C++.
- Background in programming languages.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Preferred: experience contributing to open-source projects.
- Preferred: experience making technical contributions to a compiler.
