Base Salary
$80k - $131k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance customer-driven iOS applications using organizational quality, security, performance, and programming standards.
- Translate feature requirements and design mockups into functional, maintainable application code.
- Understand system dependencies, integration points, data usage, and impacts on supporting applications.
- Provide options, recommendations, design documentation, estimating assumptions, code documentation, and performance metrics.
- Define, conduct, or participate in unit and system integration testing.
- Collaborate with teammates to verify requirements and improve system flows and processes.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, team activities, and additional work needed to achieve team goals.
- Support the modern mobile development lifecycle through version control, CI/CD pipelines, App Store releases, and production observability.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience developing customer-driven iOS applications using Swift.
- Experience applying iOS architecture patterns such as MVVM and MVC to build scalable, maintainable code.
- Experience integrating with REST APIs and third-party SDKs.
- Ability to translate feature requirements and design mockups into functional iOS application code.
- Knowledge of mobile development lifecycle practices, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and the App Store release process.
- Experience writing unit tests with XCTest, participating in code reviews, and debugging in Xcode.
- Preferred experience with Airship, Optimizely, or ForgeRock.
- Interest in mobile observability and performance work, including launch-time optimization, main-thread profiling, and crash triage.
- Background in regulated industries such as insurance, fintech, or healthcare.
