Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance scalable applications using OutSystems.
- Build integrations with external systems using REST APIs, SOAP services, and middleware.
- Monitor platform performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, troubleshooting, and support for customer technical inquiries.
- Own technical issues through resolution, meeting SLA response and resolution requirements and performing root cause analysis.
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security in accordance with OutSystems best practices and client policies.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
- Prepare statistical reports and present progress during client meetings.
- Stay current with OutSystems features, low-code trends, and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- At least a diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering; the posting also states a bachelor's degree or above.
- At least 3 years of software development experience with OutSystems, including OutSystems 11 and ODC.
- Proficiency with OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, Lifetime, ODC Studio, and ODC Portal.
- Knowledge of .NET, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, responsive design, RESTful APIs, relational databases, and database design.
- Understanding of software development principles, application security, user roles, and permission models.
- Experience supporting end-user training, adoption, and platform governance.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, client engagement, and technical stakeholder collaboration skills.
- OutSystems Associate Developer or Associate Traditional Web Developer certification is preferred; specialist certifications are a plus.
- Preferred experience includes public-sector or compliance-driven environments, system integration and migration, database management, workflow automation, RPA tools, and leading complex software projects.
