Base Salary

$130k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize complex embedded ADAS software for autonomous and self-driving vehicle technology blocks.
  • Develop sensor data acquisition and precise synchronization for IMU, GPS, camera, radar, and LiDAR devices.
  • Develop and verify modules, assess cross-team impacts, and validate ADAS software against specifications.
  • Conduct system-level benchmarking and use results to optimize software modules.
  • Design and develop SDKs supporting customer proof-of-concept projects.
  • Develop middleware-based techniques for efficient data sharing between software modules.
  • Collaborate with vehicle integration and testing teams to validate deliverables and integrate software into prototype vehicles.
  • Write technical documentation, specifications, and feature descriptions for complex projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related experience; or a relevant master's degree and 1+ year of experience; or a relevant PhD.
  • Proficiency in C++, C, and Python, with 4+ years of C++ development preferred and C++14/C++17 experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with multithreaded and multicore software development and design.
  • Embedded software design and development for safety-critical systems is preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with embedded platforms such as QNX, AGL, or Safe Linux is preferred.
  • Knowledge of the Linux network stack and experience with network device drivers is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Adaptive AUTOSAR middleware and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of functional-safety development processes and standards, including ASPICE, ASIL, ISO 26262, MISRA C++, and AUTOSAR C++.
  • Familiarity with static-analysis tools, code-coverage metrics, and unit-test generation.
  • Experience with Git, git-lfs, GitHub, or GitLab.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
