Responsibilities
- Lead development and maintenance of a high-performance Web SDK that collects and analyzes browser and device data.
- Design algorithms for device fingerprinting and behavior-based insights from gestures, keyboard interactions, and mouse interactions.
- Build and maintain automated cross-browser testing, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and release processes.
- Optimize SDK performance and resource usage across browsers and devices.
- Embed data privacy and security principles into the SDK’s design and implementation.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote maintainable, documented code.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers, and other cross-functional teams.
- Drive browser-based solutions for risk, fraud detection, and device analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of web development experience, including at least 3 years building and maintaining SDKs.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Git, and modern build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Rollup.
- Extensive experience designing and maintaining Web SDKs or libraries for data collection, tracking, or analytics.
- Deep understanding of browser environments, browser APIs, browser-related data, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of data privacy, encryption, hashing, and obfuscation techniques.
- Understanding of server-side technologies and APIs for data retrieval and storage.
- Proven open-source contributions or relevant work showcased on platforms such as GitHub.
- Preferred experience with AI-driven analytics, risk systems, fraud prevention technologies, JavaScript SDKs, gestures, interaction data processing, or high-scale distributed environments.
