Responsibilities
- Define and design technical architectures for platform components, features, and services.
- Translate product and business requirements into scalable, resilient system designs.
- Validate architectures through prototyping, test plans, and design reviews.
- Produce design documentation and functional specifications.
- Partner with engineers and product managers to align technical approaches.
- Share architectural best practices and technology trends with engineering teams.
- Mentor engineers and act as a trusted technical voice across product teams.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Prior experience as an architect, tech lead, or senior engineer.
- Experience delivering components across multiple products or services.
- Strong foundation in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with microservices and REST or gRPC API design.
- Hands-on experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tooling.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent; equivalent professional experience may substitute for formal qualifications.
- Master's degree is preferred.
- Preferred experience includes production event-driven or SOA architectures, automotive retail, DMS, enterprise SaaS, and relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or GCP Professional Architect.
