Base Salary
$78k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement AI solution architectures that address clients’ business problems and needs.
- Develop innovative solutions to complex AI and software engineering problems with limited direction.
- Apply generative and agentic AI technologies, including LLM-based tools and frameworks.
- Use advanced technical expertise and industry knowledge to align solutions with company strategies and business goals.
- Mentor and supervise team members as needed.
- Potentially gather customer requirements and lead Agile teams.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in artificial intelligence, data science, machine learning engineering, software engineering, data research, or data analytics.
- At least 2 years of software development or engineering experience in an academic or professional environment.
- Experience with generative and agentic AI technologies such as LLMs, MCP, LangChain, or LangGraph.
- Experience with a programming language such as Python, C#, or Java.
- Experience with project work in deep learning, computer vision, NLP, or signal processing.
- Knowledge of modern software design patterns, including microservice design or edge computing.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Preferred experience includes embedded systems programming in C, C++, or Rust; coding agents such as Cursor or Windsurf; GPU programming with CUDA or RAPIDS; and cloud computing technologies such as Docker.
- Preferred qualifications include the ability to gather customer requirements, lead Agile teams, and a doctorate in Computer Science or Statistics.
