Responsibilities
- Devise testing strategies for SoCs and products focused on low-level firmware, silicon features, and bootloader technologies.
- Develop and automate system-level tests for software stress and stability.
- Define and drive quality metrics to track testing progress and improvements.
- Create test frameworks, automation, and infrastructure to streamline testing.
- Scale test automation infrastructure for hardware and workload validation across multiple chip platforms.
- Develop and validate system workloads and test cycles for new hardware bring-up.
- Lead architecture, development, and operational execution for core test infrastructure and tooling.
- Build and maintain tooling integrated with CI and test frameworks for continuous hardware-program validation.
- Contribute to AI-driven tooling for issue triage and workload generation.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, quality engineering, development, and program teams to resolve validation dependencies.],
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software test automation, test infrastructure, or software development engineering in test.
- Experience designing and building test automation frameworks or tooling from the ground up.
- Experience with hardware bring-up or system-level validation for silicon or chip platforms.
- Proficiency in Python or a comparable scripting or programming language.
- Experience integrating tooling with CI/CD or test-execution pipelines.
- Experience in software development and testing.
- Experience testing embedded systems and firmware.
- Familiarity with computer architecture and operating system concepts.
- Knowledge of C/C++ and Python programming.
- Strong critical-thinking, debugging, troubleshooting, collaboration, and communication skills.
