Responsibilities
- Triage, analyze, and prioritize incoming bug reports for key watchOS components.
- Use LLMs and AI tools to identify important issues and pinpoint root causes and regression points.
- Drive day-to-day bug and source-code management processes.
- Integrate complex software changes into watchOS.
- Design and build agentic tools and automation to improve team efficiency.
- Debug software issues and support the software fix lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Familiarity with Apple operating systems, especially watchOS and iOS, and consumer-facing software development processes.
- Experience with bug tracking systems and source control, preferably Git, including branching, merging, and code review workflows.
- Experience with automated build, continuous integration, and test automation systems.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, Swift, or JavaScript, plus shell scripting.
- Hands-on experience using LLMs and AI coding assistants, with familiarity with agents, skills, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Practical experience with command-line tools on macOS, UNIX, or Linux.
- Preferred experience building LLM-powered tools or agents with technologies such as the Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI Agents SDK, or MCP servers.
- Preferred experience with prompt design and evaluation, Xcode, Instruments, Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, software debugging, data analytics, and large datasets.
