Responsibilities

  • Develop and extend scalable Java backend microservices.
  • Design, build, and maintain Apache Airflow DAGs and Python scripts for automated workflows.
  • Create and update Kubernetes manifests and Helm charts for application deployment and scaling.
  • Automate build, testing, and release processes for continuous production deployment.
  • Monitor cluster health, troubleshoot container performance, and resolve production bottlenecks across Java services and Airflow runners.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming.
  • Commercial experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including pods, deployments, services, and configurations.
  • Practical experience building and maintaining Apache Airflow pipelines.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting, data processing, and Airflow DAG creation.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.
  • Preferred qualifications include GraalVM experience, exposure to GCP, and CI/CD or DevOps experience.
  • Ability to work independently on distributed remote teams.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
