Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements, break down tasks, and estimate effort.
  • Design robust, performant, and secure software solutions.
  • Develop efficient, modular, and maintainable software.
  • Participate in code reviews and troubleshoot, debug, and fix defects.
  • Guide best practices for building, delivering, and maintaining multiple source-code projects.
  • Use product understanding to inform product design and architecture decisions.
  • Collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders and contribute to strong teams.

Requirements

  • Relevant professional software engineering experience.
  • Post-secondary education in software engineering, computer or electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong full-stack development skills with experience across front-end and back-end systems.
  • Proficiency with React and modern front-end web development, including component design, state management, and responsive UI.
  • Experience with C# and server-side application code, including APIs, services, and data access.
  • Experience writing and maintaining automated tests at multiple levels of abstraction.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and adapting in a fast-changing environment.
  • Preferred experience includes Python, Linux, shell scripting, Elasticsearch, Redis, PostgreSQL JSONB, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, cloud-native systems, distributed services, SaaS platforms, AWS, Kubernetes, container deployment pipelines, AI technologies, and security-conscious or highly regulated environments.
