Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end OSS architecture and design across Network Inventory Management, Performance Management, and Fault/Event Management.
- Design network inventory models for physical, logical, and service assets across multi-vendor, multi-technology environments.
- Architect performance and fault management capabilities including KPI frameworks, threshold management, alarm correlation, and root cause analysis.
- Gather client requirements and translate them into technical specifications, solution architectures, HLDs, LLDs, and related design documentation.
- Lead OSS integration design across OSS platforms and adjacent BSS, NMS, EMS, and cloud-native network management systems.
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, design reviews, quality assurance, and architectural governance for OSS engineering teams.
- Support pre-sales activities including RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, and solution demonstrations.
Requirements
- 12+ years of telecommunications industry experience focused on OSS architecture, design, and delivery.
- Proven expertise in at least two of Network Inventory Management, Performance Management, and Fault/Event Management, preferably in large-scale multi-vendor operator environments.
- Hands-on knowledge of OSS platforms such as IBM Tivoli Netcool, Nokia NetAct, Ericsson ENM/ENIQ, Huawei iMAC/U2000, or Comarch OSS.
- Strong understanding of OSS/BSS integration patterns, mediation layers, and telecom network-domain data modelling.
- Knowledge of TM Forum eTOM, TAM, SID/ODA and familiarity with 3GPP, ETSI, IETF, and TMN standards.
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services, TMF Open APIs, OSS/J, XML/JSON data formats, and middleware platforms.
- Ability to produce and present Solution Architecture Documents, HLDs, LLDs, interface control documents, data flow diagrams, and operational runbooks to technical and executive audiences.
