Base Salary

$95k - $161k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Support development of software-system architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs.
  • Develop and maintain hardware- and software-based product security and anti-tamper solutions for defense platforms.
  • Integrate Boeing-designed and commercial off-the-shelf hardware and software with security and control features.
  • Report day-to-day activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns to program engineering leads.
  • Collaborate independently with external customers, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, data science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or a directly related equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • At least 2 years of software development experience in avionics or real-time embedded systems or firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java.
  • Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability.
  • Preferred qualifications include 5 or more years of related experience, 4 or more years of avionics or real-time embedded software experience, and at least 1 year of GitLab configuration-management and Jira experience.
  • Preferred experience includes technical leadership, cross-team collaboration, DevSecOps, cryptography, security protocols, cybersecurity, secure computing, or anti-tamper.
  • Must satisfy Boeing’s conflict-of-interest assessment, meet U.S. export-control requirements as a U.S. Person, and be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance; visa sponsorship is unavailable.
  • Completion of a required CodeVue technical assessment is necessary for consideration.
