Responsibilities
- Estimate testing effort and create test plans, test cases, and test approaches.
- Execute tests for web, mobile iOS/Android, and API features using black-box, risk-based, exploratory, and other suitable techniques.
- Track defects and provide test status reporting.
- Use AI chat tools, agents, and coding assistants to improve test design, test scripts, API tests, SQL validation, documentation, bug reporting, speed, and coverage.
- Explore new applications of AI in the QA workflow while handling sensitive client data responsibly.
- Participate in sprint planning, analyze requirements, and provide QA and testing recommendations.
- Collaborate with QA engineers and Scrum team members to align testing approaches, share knowledge, and support cross-feature work.
- Contribute to product-growth initiatives such as competitor research and customer troubleshooting.
- Follow company data security and confidentiality policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on software testing experience.
- Intermediate English proficiency with the ability to discuss technical topics comfortably.
- Experience testing web, mobile iOS/Android, and API applications.
- Solid knowledge of test approaches, test plans, black-box testing, risk-based testing, and exploratory testing.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira and TestRail.
- Basic SQL knowledge for test data validation.
- Hands-on use of AI chat tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini in real testing work, including strong prompting skills.
- Practical use of AI coding assistants such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude Code for test scripts, API tests, or SQL.
- Understanding of AI agents and MCP, including awareness of AI limitations and responsible handling of sensitive client data.
- Methodical, detail-oriented, analytical, adaptable, self-directed, and collaborative.
- Experience creating and running automated tests with Katalon, Selenium, Robotium, UiAutomator, XCTest, or XCUITest is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with TestNG, Mocha, or Jest is preferred.
