Responsibilities
- Lead AI initiatives end to end from early concepts and prototypes through production-ready solutions.
- Build practical AI applications and integrations that solve real business and client problems.
- Shape technical direction, design choices, implementation approaches, and engineering best practices.
- Develop reusable tools, patterns, and approaches for prompt engineering, experimentation, evaluation, and solution design.
- Work with international Innovation teams and contribute to hackathons, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and technical capability development.
- Monitor and improve the performance, reliability, latency, quality, and cost efficiency of production AI systems.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience and senior-level technical judgment.
- Experience building and delivering production-grade applications.
- Hands-on JavaScript and TypeScript development with frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Backend experience with Node.js, NestJS, or similar technologies, plus Python experience building AI-powered workflows, integrations, or applications.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and integrating AI into real-world products and business processes.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt design, tool use, structured outputs, application orchestration, RAG, retrieval pipelines, embeddings, and knowledge-grounded AI systems.
- Familiarity with modern agent patterns, multi-step workflows, tool-connected AI systems, AWS, Kubernetes, monitoring, and observability.
- Experience taking AI products from experimentation to production, or with MCP, vector databases, semantic search, scalable retrieval, AI evaluation, testing, and guardrails, is preferred.
- Track record of leading projects, mentoring others, defining engineering practices, communicating effectively, and working across engineering and business teams.
