Responsibilities
- Learn how Zoox simulations work.
- Develop software to build simulations from external data.
- Review resulting simulations, find issues, and drive improvements.
- Meet with Zoox teams to learn their use cases and support adoption of the tools.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in a relevant discipline.
- Software development experience with C++ and Python.
- Ability to use Claude Code to drive progress, including generating software.
- Interest in working with various teams to learn use cases and drive adoption.
- Available to commit to a minimum six-month assignment.
- Able to work at least 20 hours per week.
- Able to work on-site at a Foster City, California location ASAP.
- Must adhere to Zoox confidentiality requirements, including restrictions on sharing proprietary information in academic research, theses, publications, or presentations.
