Responsibilities
- Define architecture for AI-native agentic systems.
- Create failure mode scenarios for agentic workflows.
- Provide expertise in LLM architectures and model training.
- Drive technology transformation within the domain.
- Stay current with advancements in the agentic AI ecosystem.
- Champion technical exploration and guide architectural decisions.
- Collaborate with the AI Platform team to align capabilities.
- Define metrics and observability standards for agentic systems.
- Provide architectural guidance to engineering squads.
- Influence the Architecture Guild and drive best practices.
- Ensure adherence to architecture governance standards.
- Champion technical controls to manage complexity.
- Design high-performance distributed systems.
- Recognize industry trends to influence product roadmap.
- Mentor engineers to strengthen technical leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 16+ years of software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems.
- Extensive experience with Java-based development and microservices.
- Strong experience designing event-driven architectures.
- Expertise in building low-latency data pipelines.
- Experience with data streaming technologies like Kafka or Spark.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with fault-tolerant messaging systems.
- Experience with distributed data stores like MongoDB or Cassandra.
- Experience integrating applications with search platforms.
- Proven experience mentoring engineers.
- Strong ability to create architecture documentation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
