Responsibilities
- Write and test scalable Python code for automation and integration applications.
- Develop backend components and integrate user-facing elements, including UI where needed.
- Build and integrate APIs and microservices using Python.
- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases and optimize I/O operations.
- Implement encryption, decryption, encoding, hashing, and other techniques for protecting sensitive data.
- Develop Python decorators and apply effective memory management practices.
- Create comprehensive system, unit, and integration tests and use debugging tools.
- Document code functionality and usage with appropriate tools and techniques.
- Apply Python to data analysis and data science projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python frameworks, particularly Flask and FastAPI, with foundational knowledge of Azure Function Apps.
- Strong understanding of Python threading limitations, asynchronous programming, and multiprocessing architecture.
- Experience with testing and debugging tools and writing system, unit, and integration tests.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Expertise in encryption and decryption techniques, including encoding and hashing.
- Experience with Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, SDKs, Microsoft Graph, and SharePoint.
- Experience developing and consuming APIs and microservices with Python.
- Experience with Python for data analysis and data science.
- Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
- Strong communication skills and experience using Jira and Slack.
- Preferred: Vue.js, Azure serverless architecture and resource management, Linux, Docker, YAML, GraphQL, API versioning, caching strategies, Azure DevOps repositories and practices, and .NET API development.
