Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure for high-volume data processing.
- Improve performance, cost, and reliability at scale.
- Design and maintain backend services and data pipelines that support customer-facing products.
- Collaborate with frontend teams on customer-facing features and applications.
- Work with cross-company stakeholders to ensure data processes meet requirements.
- Maintain high engineering standards through testing, observability, clean code, and CI/CD practices.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in backend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Experience building high-scale, low-latency, robust services deployed across multiple AKS namespaces and regions with different configurations.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform, with Azure preferred.
- Nice to have experience with Snowflake, Delta Lake, or Iceberg.
- Nice to have experience with distributed data processing such as Databricks or PySpark.
- Leadership experience through team management, project ownership, or task management is advantageous.
- Strong ownership, accountability, communication, collaboration, and focus on performance, scale, and cost-efficiency.
