Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain WinForms applications and future cloud-native applications and services on Microsoft Azure.
- Deliver committed sprint stories within a two-week Agile/Scrum cadence and collaborate with Product Owners, QA, designers, and engineering peers.
- Use GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and other agent-based tools while reviewing and securing AI-generated output.
- Apply secure coding practices, including input validation, secrets handling, dependency hygiene, and OWASP guidance.
- Contribute to code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, automated testing, observability, performance tuning, refactoring, and technical-debt reduction.
- Document code, design decisions, and operational runbooks and support compliance, safety, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in modern .NET, C#, ASP.NET Core, and at least one front-end framework such as React, Angular, or Blazor; WinForms experience is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience using AI development assistants in daily development practice.
- Proficiency with SQL Server or Azure SQL, including query design, performance, and schema fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of Git, GitHub or Azure DevOps, pull-request workflows, and CI/CD concepts.
- Understanding of secure coding, OWASP Top 10, secrets management, Agile/Scrum practices, and continuous delivery.
- Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Azure deployment experience, Bicep or Terraform, Azure OpenAI Service or Azure AI Foundry, agentic development workflows, Docker, Azure Container Apps, AKS, regulated-industry experience, test automation, and observability tooling.
