Responsibilities
- Apply quantitative methods to develop capabilities meeting business, risk management, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial data schemas, flows, scale, data issues, and controls.
- Build performant big-data pipelines using distributed computing approaches.
- Develop modular, high-quality software for modeling and testing processes.
- Collaborate with modelers, risk managers, technologists, and stakeholders to understand requirements and design future-state capabilities.
- Maintain and enhance analytical capabilities in response to changing portfolios, economic conditions, and emerging risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of modular software engineering, software lifecycle processes, unit testing, and regression testing.
- Experience with distributed computing paradigms such as MapReduce and DataFrames, including distributed software optimization.
- Knowledge of quantitative modeling techniques including regression, classification, and clustering.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, prioritization, relationship-building, attention-to-detail, and change-management skills.
- Global Risk Management experience is preferred.
