Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain software at the core of Kapacity.io’s optimization products.
  • Become a core contributor to the codebase and participate in work planning, retrospectives, and overall team improvement.
  • Work directly with sales to translate business needs into viable technical solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience developing and deploying production-quality software.
  • Experience with UI/UX development.
  • Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Go, Python, Docker, and AWS.
  • Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Adaptability and resilience when facing new, difficult, and ambiguous challenges.
  • Ability to work regularly from the Helsinki office; weekly office presence is required.
  • Interest in energy, power markets, and HVAC is helpful but not required.
