Responsibilities
- Customize Windows, Linux, and Google platform audio software drivers for OEM customers.
- Collaborate with Qualcomm cross-functional teams to resolve customer problems.
- Explain technical information clearly between customers and developers.
- Measure, analyze, and optimize audio performance.
- Create application notes and technical memoranda and provide customer training.
- Tune and debug audio and voice system algorithms across Windows, Linux, and Google platforms.
- Support customers in passing Google AVL and Microsoft Real Time Communications certification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 4+ years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree plus 3+ years; or a PhD plus 2+ years.
- At least 2 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- At least 1 year of experience with debugging techniques.
- Experience with audio system architecture, Audio DSP technologies, Windows Audio software architecture, Linux Audio Framework, and Google audio technologies is required by the role’s scope.
