Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of high-performance, real-time, data-intensive trading applications.
- Drive scalable data solutions and resolve complex data challenges in the trading domain.
- Lead projects through delivery while maintaining code quality, performance, and data management standards.
- Use AI coding tools in the daily engineering workflow.
- Collaborate with product managers, frontend, QA, and infrastructure engineers.
- Mentor and support junior engineers.
- Help advance reliable and scalable data foundations for OKX’s trading platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, or a strong STEM education background.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in the big data domain.
- Proven success delivering solutions to challenging data-related problems.
- Expertise in semi-structured data, data processing pipelines, data modeling, and OLAP solutions.
- Strong logical thinking, problem-solving ability, curiosity, adaptability, and attention to detail.
- Preferred: deep understanding of modern event-driven architecture.
- Preferred: experience with search and recommendation systems.
- Preferred: familiarity with PolarDB, TiDB, StarRocks, and ClickHouse.
- Experience working with multi-region and multicultural teams is a plus.
- Applicants should have current authorization to work in Singapore without requiring visa sponsorship.
