Base Salary
$175k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve the firm’s internal agentic AI platform and associated tooling.
- Design and implement background agentic AI workflows that analyze market news, security data, SEC filings, emails, and other data sources.
- Create agentic AI tools and contribute to the MCP Server and MCP Gateway.
- Deploy an agent evaluation framework and perform User Acceptance Testing with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product teams and business stakeholders to define features and build AI-powered applications.
- Improve code quality, development lifecycles, platform capabilities, and developer practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably with Python.
- Experience creating and integrating REST APIs and working with event-driven and asynchronous architectures.
- Experience with relational databases including Postgres and MySQL and NoSQL databases including DynamoDB and Elastic Search.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, Kubernetes-driven deployments, Github Actions, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong interest in AI and the ability to develop creative problem-solving applications.
- Methodical problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience developing agentic AI applications, harnesses, MCP servers, and workflows.
- Preferred familiarity with AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, agentic tools, and observability tooling such as DataDog.
