Responsibilities

  • Build and own integrations that move CAM and CAI data from Teamcenter to the shop floor, including NX CAM outputs, DNC dispatch, machine controls, and as-run data.
  • Develop custom Teamcenter extensions, handlers, services, integrations, BMIDE data models, and Active Workspace interfaces using ITK and SOA.
  • Integrate CAI and metrology systems so measured inspection results enter the digital thread as structured data.
  • Automate EBOM-to-MBOM propagation and model-based definition data flows into manufacturing and quality systems.
  • Expose manufacturing data through APIs for scheduling, applied AI, and manufacturing systems teams.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers and factory operators to translate production workflows into software requirements.
  • Write production-quality code, comprehensive tests, and participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
  • Deploy and operate systems in factory environments, including edge compute clusters and OT networks.
  • Use AI tooling and coding assistants in development workflows and participate in an on-call rotation supporting production factory systems.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering building production systems.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Teamcenter development with ITK and SOA customization in C++ and Java, BMIDE data modeling, and Active Workspace.
  • Demonstrated experience building custom Teamcenter handlers, services, and integrations rather than only configuring workflows and templates.
  • Working knowledge of CAM, CAI, CMM, NC programming outputs, machine dispatch, metrology, inspection data, and EBOM-to-MBOM relationships.
  • Experience authoring NX Open programs to automate NX and Design Center workflows.
  • Technical fluency in software architectures, APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, and cloud or edge infrastructure.
  • Experience building reliable systems under operational constraints such as high availability, low latency, or constrained environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • Preferred experience with manufacturing, industrial, or OT-adjacent domains such as MES, SCADA, PLC integration, factory automation, or IoT.
  • Preferred hands-on experience with NX CAM, Vericut, PolyWorks, MTConnect, and OPC-UA.
  • Preferred familiarity with STEP AP242, ASME Y14.41, CAD PMI, QIF, ERP, MES, WMS, manufacturing planning systems, and AI-enabled software development workflows.
  • Preferred experience in manufacturing environments, including assembly lines or production operations, and in hyper-growth startup-like organizations.

Benefits

  • Full-time employees receive comprehensive competitive benefits available at little to no cost, including health and recovery support.
  • The role includes a stated U.S. salary range of $191,000–$253,000 in base salary; competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers.
