Responsibilities
- Manage and support software releases in non-production test environments before go-live.
- Troubleshoot environment drift, data setup issues, and system problems.
- Triage critical system issues and coordinate incident response for rapid service restoration.
- Deploy proactive monitoring and improve automation, optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct root cause analysis and communicate technical problems to non-technical stakeholders.
- Coordinate engineering, QA, UAT, and DevOps teams to ensure test environment readiness.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in software engineering, application support, DevOps, or SRE, including incident, change, and problem management using an enterprise ITSM tool.
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, or other object-oriented programming languages for technical analysis and independent debugging.
- Hands-on experience with Splunk or other monitoring and observability tools.
- Working experience with RDBMS, PL/SQL, and cloud infrastructure such as AWS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills during high-pressure outages.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related STEM field, or related work experience.
- Preferred experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Unix shell scripting, and eCommerce platforms.
