Base Salary
$140k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using JDK 11 or higher.
- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Develop cloud-ready applications and integrations using AWS services.
- Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases, including performance tuning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept through deployment.
- Use Git and version-control best practices to manage codebases.
- Write and maintain Bash scripts for automation and operational tasks.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development and production environments.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java and JDK 11 or higher.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS.
- Expertise in API development and microservices.
- Strong SQL skills, including database performance tuning.
- Proficiency with Git and version-control workflows.
- Experience with Bash scripting for automation.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
- Experience with AWS CloudFormation is preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, ownership, problem-solving, and self-direction skills.
