Responsibilities
- Drive and continuously improve the SSDLC program across cloud-native and on-premises products and services.
- Perform security reviews, vulnerability assessments, threat modeling, and guidance on remediation or mitigation of security findings.
- Guide developers on secure coding practices, secure architecture, and secure software design.
- Support security within CI/CD/CD processes through DevSecOps practices.
- Support customers, developers, and the Software Security Group in analyzing security-tool outputs.
- Manage, control, and upgrade selected SSDLC tool suites.
- Support security controls, security testing, developer training, and security best-practice adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1–2 years supporting an SSDLC program or similar secure software activities.
- At least 4 years of relevant information technology or development experience.
- Hands-on experience with areas such as threat modeling, static and dynamic analysis, attack surface analysis, software composition analysis, penetration testing, vulnerability remediation, HTTP, XML, REST, C/C++, Java, web servers, and scripting languages.
- Knowledge of secure code analysis, CVSS, CWE, OWASP, ASVS, SANS Top 25, penetration-testing methodologies, cryptography, PKI, TLS/SSL, authentication and authorization, infrastructure as code, system hardening, TCP/IP networks, Linux, and Microsoft Windows.
- Experience with productivity and communication suites, ticketing tools, content-management tools, technical writing, documentation, and communication.
- Understanding of enterprise computing environments, distributed applications, secure system configuration and infrastructure deployment, and incident handling/response.
- Ability to learn new technical concepts, manage responsibilities and deadlines, communicate effectively, and solve analytical problems.
