Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, integrate, support, and modernize enterprise PAM, IAM, IGA, and cloud security technologies across Azure and AWS.
- Develop IAM services, governance workflows, RBAC, and user lifecycle management processes.
- Design, test, and implement Zero Trust strategies covering identities, devices, applications, and network access.
- Engineer and maintain PAM solutions for Windows and Linux environments.
- Lead Active Directory security hardening and the transition to Microsoft Entra ID and cloud-native identity services.
- Develop automation for operational efficiency, maintenance, security detection, and response.
- Troubleshoot complex security and IAM issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Manage concurrent projects, security-system documentation, operational playbooks, knowledge-transfer materials, and incident escalations.
- Develop security policies, standards, procedures, communications, and performance indicators.
- Integrate security tools and resources into the security intelligence platform and evaluate emerging technologies and processes.
- Promote IAM, PAM, and security best practices through training, consultation, and collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience, including 2 years as an Information Security Analyst in at least two areas such as firewall management, system hardening, IAM, identity governance, or PAM.
- Deep understanding of Linux identity engineering and administration, with Linux experience shown on the resume.
- At least 1 year of experience with PAM platforms across Windows, Linux, network-device, and containerized environments.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting IAM solutions such as Saviynt or SailPoint and integrating upstream and downstream applications.
- Significant automation scripting experience using at least two of Python, PowerShell, API-based integrations, or no-code/low-code workflow automation platforms.
- Strong knowledge of L4-L7 protocols including SSL, HTTP, DNS, SMTP, and IPsec, plus TCP/IP, networking, routing, switching, encryption technologies, and security standards.
- Knowledge of IAM and IGA principles including SSO, MFA, ModernAuth, SoD, least privilege, and access certifications.
- CISSP or Identity Management Institute certification is preferred.
- Cloud security experience, Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK knowledge, JSON development, LLM or statistical-analysis experience, manufacturing-environment experience, security-policy experience, and DLP, RMS, or CASB experience are preferred.
- Strong ability to communicate and document complex concepts.
