Responsibilities
- Guide strategic customers to successful implementations on big data projects.
- Architect production-level data pipelines and optimize performance.
- Become a technical expert in data lake technology and big data workflows.
- Assist Solution Architects with advanced technical sales aspects.
- Contribute to the Databricks Community.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role.
- Expertise in data ingestion and streaming technologies like Spark Streaming and Kafka.
- Experience building data pipelines using big data technologies such as Spark/Delta or Hadoop.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools, automation, and orchestration.
- Experience designing data solutions on cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with data modeling tools like dbt.
- Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience.
- Production programming experience in SQL and Python, Scala, or Java.
- Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.
