Responsibilities
- Understand system specifications and firmware and memory requirements.
- Design NAND firmware architecture and algorithms.
- Create test scenarios, test designs, and firmware implementations through deployment.
- Ensure firmware meets product quality and performance specifications.
- Lead program reviews and update quality standards when necessary.
- Manage projects and tasks to meet deadlines and commitments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience in firmware or software quality development.
- Hands-on experience with object-oriented programming, Python, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proven experience as a software designer and/or software lead.
- Ability to learn new firmware, hardware, systems, tools, technologies, and complex code quickly.
- Strong problem-solving and complexity-analysis skills, communication skills, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Preferred experience with ARM or ARC microcontroller architecture, embedded systems, RTOS, SAS, SATA, PCIe, bus analyzers, emulators, and firmware debugging tools.
- Knowledge of data analytics, data visualization, or machine learning is an advantage.
- Experience with Scrum membership or leadership and Agile practices is an advantage.
