Responsibilities

Design, build, deploy, and maintain simple, clear, well-structured, and well-tested software.
Use AI agents to accelerate development and advise clients and internal teams on their safe use.
Solve complex technical problems through research, collaboration, and effective analysis.
Implement and maintain automated unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end testing.
Lead design and feature discussions focused on performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate software applications successfully.
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents promptly.
Understand and address customer needs with empathy and urgency.
Mentor new and less-experienced team members and share engineering best practices.

Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least five years of software development experience using Python or another object-oriented programming language.
Excellent proficiency in Python.
Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript; Rust experience is a strong plus.
Familiarity with C++ is a plus.
Strong command of a typed, object-oriented programming language and common software architectures, methodologies, and tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, organizational, documentation, and time-management skills.
Experience in the financial domain is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other essential computer applications.
