Base Salary

$96k - $163k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.
  • Validate Spring and Spring Boot REST APIs for functional correctness, schema adherence, error handling, and edge cases.
  • Use Postman and Insomnia for exploratory API testing and debugging, converting findings into automated coverage.
  • Design and execute load, stress, and performance tests using JMeter and BlazeMeter.
  • Define and track performance baselines for throughput, latency, and resource utilization.
  • Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines and enable parallel test execution across shared environments.
  • Contribute to test strategy, coverage planning, risk assessment, and high-quality defect reporting.
  • Lead improvements to test frameworks, processes, and engineering standards while mentoring QA and delivery teams.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in automation-focused QA or SDET roles.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Java-based automation frameworks.
  • Deep experience with Selenium, REST Assured, Cucumber, and Cypress.
  • Strong understanding of Spring and Spring Boot microservices architectures and RESTful APIs in distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with JMeter and BlazeMeter for performance testing.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution.
  • Experience designing or evolving automation frameworks beyond test case development is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Page Object Model, abstraction layers, and BDD best practices is preferred.
  • Experience supporting high-scale mission-critical systems with strict SLAs is preferred.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery models, containerized or cloud-based testing environments, Jira, or ALM is preferred.
  • Domain experience in billing, financial systems, payments, or card services is preferred.
  • Experience testing data pipelines, ETL processes, or streaming systems is preferred.
