Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 2 support for production applications and resolve incidents with development and internal customer support teams.
  • Identify opportunities to improve system resilience, efficiency, security, and performance through automation.
  • Facilitate CI/CD in infrastructure and support Agile, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
  • Analyze metrics to debug systems, identify bottlenecks, and tune resources for optimal performance.
  • Build and support solutions using PaaS, IaaS, and traditional on-premises technology stacks.
  • Contribute to the DevOps Centre of Excellence and recommend technical and procedural improvements.
  • Provide off-hours support and work flexible hours as required.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Agile methodology.
  • 1–3 years of experience maintaining and operating mission-critical distributed systems.
  • Ability to develop Python and Shell scripts from scratch.
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm, Go templating, Argo CD, and Rancher.
  • Knowledge of at least one cloud provider: Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Ansible and the ability to identify issues and performance bottlenecks using data analytics.
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate and take ownership of problems.
  • FIX protocol, order management systems, market data, systems benchmarking, performance testing, Perl, JavaScript, Golang, and monitoring or logging tools are nice-to-have qualifications.
