Responsibilities
- Design and implement sophisticated forecasting and planning software for complex capacity allocation.
- Write scalable, clean, and maintainable Python code and establish engineering best practices.
- Own the full development lifecycle, including architecture, testing, implementation, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to convert operational challenges into robust technical solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and communicate technical concepts to cross-functional stakeholders.
- Drive project milestones, technical roadmaps, and comprehensive technical documentation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering complex, large-scale systems.
- Strong ability to design, architect, and deliver robust, scalable, high-performance distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, including reviewing and refining generated code.
- Deep experience deploying or interacting with machine learning models for forecasting, optimization, or advanced planning.
- Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, relational data warehouses, ETL design, and data pipeline orchestration.
- Extensive experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps and write clear technical documentation.
