Base Salary
$144k - $224k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Implement complex software solutions that meet business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product managers to define, design, and ship features.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.
- Participate in architecture, design, and technical specification reviews.
- Review pull requests and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Document work and contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Stay current with AWS technologies and emerging industry trends.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering culture.
- Engage with customers or internal stakeholders to understand their needs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience with software design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 3 years of experience building complex software systems.
- At least 2 years of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Preferred: knowledge of JAX, PyTorch, vLLM, SGLang, Dynamo, TorchXLA, and TensorRT.
- Preferred: knowledge of machine learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.
- Preferred: knowledge of Python and/or C++ programming.
