Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Fault Detection and Classification strategies in semiconductor factories, especially backend systems.
- Provide sustainable support for existing FDC applications.
- Process customer requirements and implement them in advanced process-control IT projects.
- Deliver project results on time, within quality expectations and budget.
- Analyze, evaluate, and optimize IT systems and processes.
- Implement and test software changes.
- Specify manufacturing requirements, prioritize them with the software vendor, and track implementation.
- Analyze, resolve, and document technical problems, collaborating with external partners when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
- Strong expertise in Fault Detection and Classification, preferably with hands-on experience using Onto Innovation solutions.
- Experience in Requirements Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of SECS/GEM is an advantage.
- Good understanding of SQL, Oracle, Linux, Python, and scripting languages.
- Ability to take ownership of applications and projects and serve as an interface between Process Engineering and Automation teams.
- Excellent written and spoken English is mandatory.
