Base Salary
$190k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and test mission-critical onboard software for Glydways vehicles.
- Own high-performance interfaces to onboard devices like cameras and sensors.
- Develop and integrate runtimes and middleware for autonomy and ML workloads.
- Improve systems for live track operations, including software deployment and logging.
- Collaborate with Autonomy, Hardware, and Operations teams to define interfaces.
- Investigate and debug issues on the bench and on-vehicle.
- Shape technical direction and participate in design discussions and code reviews.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++ or C for production systems.
- Experience developing device drivers or low-level interfaces for sensors.
- Familiarity with resource-constrained embedded hardware.
- Solid understanding of communication protocols like SPI, UART, and CAN.
- Experience with Linux, especially in embedded environments.
- Experience with robotics middleware such as ROS or ROS 2.
- Ability to own features end-to-end from design to support.
